June 21, 2008 <> " Bonpo Shang Workshop " with Mitch Nur, PhD. The ritual flat bell of the authentic original spiritual tradition of Tibet is featured in this workshop. The Shang is the main ritual sound tool of the Bonpo, and is used throughout the himalayan shamanic cultures. This is the premiere program on this instrument, and Mitch is the only Westerner authorized to teach it. Instruments will be provided for student use. August 16, 2008 <> " Sacred Sounds Workshop with Tibetan Singing Bells, Tingshas, and the Bonpo Shang " with Mitch Nur, PhD. Learn how to use these Himalayan sound tools for sound, vibrational, and shamanic therapy. Mitch has been using and teaching with these instruments for over 30 years and is regarded as an authority by Nepalese and Tibetan authorities. Eyecoverings or Mindfolds required. Shamanic in nature, not for those who have issues with the dark. Two program times are being offered, 7:30pm and 9pm.
